Examples of initiatives for democratic innovation

During our journey, we came across a number of great, innovative initiatives aiming to reshape the current political sphere and democratic process. We wish we could promote all of them, but that would be impossible. However, we came up with six broad categories of projects and for each, chose two examples we felt like are particularly inspiring. 

These are initiatives that are running right, not the only ones and definitely not the answer to all the problems. There is still a place for innovation and involvement. For more ideas, check Participedia
