Nearly his entire carrier Piet (1977, BE) worked as a Belgian in the Netherlands (for amongst others Vlaams Cultuurhuis De Brakke Grond, Festival Cement, het Huis van Bourgondië) and now serves as the artistic director of Het Zuidelijk Toneel (HZT). This means he is able to cross borders. With HZT he works with people from The Netherlands and Belgium, from the theatre scene and beyond. Piet believes in versatility. Because of the many creators HZT presents, it reaches out to many audiences. Piet strives to open up possible collaborations with multiple social partners. This way the creations appear in the world and the world in the creations.
